5th/6th Grade

To ease the change from a self-contained elementary environment to the more rapidly moving middle school setting, the fifth and sixth graders have one teacher for Language Arts, one teacher for Science, one teacher for Math, and one teacher for Social Studies. The students also have a Bible class.

The middle school setting transitions from phonic skills to literature analysis coupled with basic research and multi-paragraph writing as well as communication skills of reading, listening, and speaking. Our curriculum is further enhanced by students learning and understanding subject matter with a Christian world view. 

Students will be exposed to other teachers through classes such as P.E., Spanish, Art, Computer, and Music.
