6th Grade Fractions
Sharing answers to the class with fraction circles – The sixth grade math students at MRCA worked on fractions recently. Instead of simply writing in numbers, the students demonstrated their knowledge by using manipulatives to represent their problems and answers. “We showed the fractions and taught the class how we got our answers,” said a student. “The pieces help the numbers make sense.”
