After School Care

CASA exists to help you meet your child's needs during the hours between school and home. The CASA staff has a sincere interest in providing your child with enriching activities and security in a nurturing, Christian environment. Age appropriate activities are planned for children with a 45 minute supervised homework time provided for 2nd - 8th grade.

REGISTRATION FEE
$30 per family with one child attending CASA, $35 per family with two children attending CASA, or $40 per family with three or more children attending.

RATES FOR CARE
K3 - Care provided from school dismissal time with pickup by:
2:00 p.m. $9.00/ day

K-4 through T1 - care provided from school dismissal time with pickup by:
3:25 p.m. $9.00/ day
5:30 p.m. $15.50/day

Grades 1 through 8 - care provided from school dismissal time with pick up by:
5:30 p.m. $7.65/day

Families with 2 children attending CASA will receive a 20% discount for the second child. Families with 3 or more children attending CASA will receive a 40% discount for the third child.

HOURS OF OPERATION

During the regular school year, the CASA program will operate each school day beginning on the first day of school and ending on the last day of school. The program operates from the time school is dismissed until 5:30 p.m.

When a half-day of school is scheduled (such as on teacher workdays or a day preceding a holiday), the program will operate from the early dismissal time until 3:30 at no extra charge.

Early dismissal from school due to inclement weather or other emergency conditions will cancel the CASA program. In the event of the cancellation of the CASA program due to inclement weather or other emergency conditions, credit will be issued for fees for that day.

The CASA program will not operate on snow days, school holidays, or the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.

PAYMENT

Monthly payments are due the first day of each month your child attends CASA. Payments should be written separate from school tuition and checks made out to MRCA/CASA. A late payment fee of $15.00 will be assessed after the 10th of each month for payments which are past due. A student may be denied entrance to CASA if an account is not cleared at the end of a thirty-day period. Any family that falls behind in CASA tuition will be contacted by the MRCA Business Manager or CASA director so satisfactory arrangements can be made. All CASA accounts must be paid in full by May 15th.

LATE PICK UP FEE

Children are to be picked up promptly at the agreed upon time. A late pickup fee of $1.00/minute will be assessed. After 15 minutes an additional $20 will also be charged. These late fees will be applied to your monthly statement. The CASA clock will be considered official time.

ABSENCE FROM PROGRAM

Due to the fact that the program's budget is determined and dependent upon the monthly fees for its operation your payment is required even if the child is absent from the program. Any changes including withdrawal from the program will require 5 DAYS WRITTEN NOTICE to the CASA Director. Dropping out of the program and re-entering will require another registration fee.
