Art Sculptures
Ruth Thomas' 5th grade art class was given the challenge of creating art from "junk". Actually the "junk" was recyclables and students used their problem solving skills and creativity to make whimsical 3-D sculptures. The students created everything from sushi bars to castles from paper towel rolls, egg cartons and muffin containers among other things.
