Guatemala Mission Trip

Again this year, Mitchell Road Christian Academy will take a group of 17 people (10 students, 7 adults) to Guatemala during Easter Break, March 27th – April 3rd. Each student has been challenged to raise $2.00 to help purchase puppets for the Guatemala Church and School Puppet Ministry. Each puppet costs $50. Our goal is to purchase 14 puppets – 10 for the school in San Andreas and 4 for the church in Panajachel. The faculty and staff have been challenged as well to donate either classroom supplies or money to purchase classroom supplies for the teachers at the school. As well, a portion of the SERVE-A-Thon money raised this year will be used for assisting with various construction jobs at the San Andreas School. Please be in prayer for the team going to serve in Guatemala, for MRCA to be able to provide the 14 puppets for this ministry, and for adequate classroom supplies to be donated for the 15 teachers at the San Andreas School.
