Hibernation Holiday

While studying the letter "H" this week, Mrs. Lesiak and Mrs. Keown's K4 classes had a "Hibernation Holiday" where they wore pajamas to school and carried stuffed animals that represented animals that hibernate. One of the students showed the classes a real animal who doesn't hibernate, but who's name starts with the letter "H". This family had the priviledge of babysitting Snowbell, a baby hedgehog, for a nearby school. Our K4 students got to see Snowbell's unique color (her spines are white and her eyes are red), and they got to watch her eat mealworms for a snack. Some students were even brave enough to touch her spines. Some would say that seeing Snowbell was the Highlight of the day."
