Willing Workers Week
Their jobs were quite diverse: a mom with a home business helping people with computer needs; a dad who is a geologist; and a grandfather who works with Habitat for Humanity to help build homes all around the world. These are just some of the careers students in Debbie Teague's first grade heard about firsthand from parents and grandparents during their study of jobs in the community. The students then reported on a career of their choice complete with any special clothing or "tools" they would need in their selected job.
