Admissions Process

Click on the steps below to learn more about our admissions process.

  • Read the Admissions & Enrollment Requirements and the Mission Driven Enrollment statement.
  • After prayerfully considering if MRCA is the best fit for your family, submit an online application for your child with a non-refundable $80 application fee ($10 less per each subsequent application for the school year in which you are applying).
  • In the application, we ask for the email addresses of your child’s most recent schoolteacher and your current church pastor, Sunday school teacher, or church youth leader. When you submit the application, a form will be emailed to both individuals for them to complete and submit online.
  • Your child’s school records are a vital part of the application process and are required in order to complete his/her application file.
  • Our application includes a form giving us permission to request records from your child’s current school. Once your child’s application is submitted, we will request school records.
  • We must have your child’s records (including any formal educational testing, classroom accommodations, and/or IEP) in order to continue the application process.

  • If you are a new prospective family, the Enrollment Director will set up a meeting with you to discuss the remainder of the admissions process, hear from you about your relationship with the Lord, and share more about MRCA.
  • Current families (who have students currently attending MRCA and applying for a new student) do not need a parent interview.

  • Prospective students must meet academic entrance requirements based on prior grades and standardized test scores. We require test scores (for 1st – 8th grade prospective students) from your child’s current school in order for their admissions file to be complete.
  • For K4 – K5 applicants, a brief, 20-30 minute developmental evaluation will be scheduled.
  • For T1 – 8th grade applicants, an entrance evaluation will be scheduled (duration depends on grade).
  • Once we have received all school records (including test scores, educational testing, and classroom accommodations, if applicable), the pastor and teacher reference letters, and have completed the entrance evaluation, your child's file will be reviewed at the next scheduled Admissions Committee meeting. The Admissions Committee will weigh all the elements of your child’s application, along with other details that affect qualification and best fit, and determine eligibility for the upcoming school year.
  • Please know that we cannot exceed predetermined class ratios of students who need or may need accommodations and/or tutoring.
  • The Admissions Office will inform you in writing of its enrollment decision after the Admissions Committee meeting. You may receive an offer of enrollment, be placed in a wait pool, or be notified that MRCA is unable to offer acceptance to your child. Please read this document to learn more about our wait pool policies and this document to see our admissions requirements.
  • If your child is offered acceptance, you will also receive an acceptance email that includes a link to an enrollment packet. The online packet must be submitted within ten (10) days after receipt if you are accepting enrollment for your child. A non-refundable $225 student enrollment fee is due at the time of submission. For new families, a one-time $250 family fee will be due by June 15 and will be invoiced to your school financial account.
